Description
From the ancient Hindu Epic RAMAYANA-Maricha,the Rakhaysa knew the art of changing his appearance in to anything he wanted. When Rama ,Sita and Lakhsmana were in exile from the kingdom of Dasaratha, andwere living at the bank of the river Godavari ,Ravana ,the king of Lanka hired Maricha ,to take the shape of a golden deer and graze at vicinity of Rama's Ashram ,. The idea was , when Sita will be mesmerized by the beauty of the golden deer , she will ask Rama to catch the a-deer and Ravana can nicely kidnap Site then.and take the revenge for his sister Surpanakha 's humiliation by Rama and Lakhmana..... Maricha knew the divine power of Rama and Knew Ravana will be doomed by the act ...but his denial will mean instant death by Ravana, instead he preferred death in the divine hand of Rama .....and here he is to mesmerize Sita by his beauty...
